It begins with wonder, but execution requires wisdom.
I approach every creative project with the same question: I wonder what would happen if I did this? It’s fun to imagine different outcomes, and how a successful effort will positively impact the client’s business. But success isn’t algorithmic, with an idea in and success out. Execution, where a clear understanding of how a project will be completed using available resources is critical. I have spent my career helping small organizations achieve their goals. Every business has projects that they would love to complete. This is where I come in. Let’s collaborate and wonder together, understand what resources are available or need to be acquired, establish a critical path and help your business grow.
About Elliott Resource Services
Elliott Resource Services was founded in 1981 by my Grandfather Gordon Elliott after he retired from a career spent entirely with Foster Wheeler in St.Catharines, Ontario. During the depression, he was hired as an Office Boy, beating out hundreds of other applicants. With a young family at home, he studied accounting by correspondence, graduating in the first Certified Management Accountant class in 1953. He retired as Chief Financial Officer of the company in 1981.
Retirement was an opportunity to share the experience he’d gained during his career, particularly with churches and organizations that needed help connecting with resources to ensure their continued success.
My father revived the business to provide executive coaching and counselling services after his own retirement in 2003, work that he continues to do to this day.
When my Uncle Peter retired in 2018, Elliott Resource Services Pacific was born, offering coaching, consulting and communication services to clients.
I am proud to continue the tradition of providing thoughtful guidance to clients as Elliott Resource Services - Toronto.
